This new course is for designers who want to learn how to prepare their 3D CAD model for Rapid Prototyping new products and concepts using Magics software from Materialise. This knowledge gap has a significant impact on the businesses’ workflow and ability to use Rapid Prototyping effectively.

The file fixing knowledge will belearned through a 1 day tutored file fixing workshop and a project-led supported file fixing for the business to prepare one of their own files. The outcome for the business is to be able to use Rapid Prototyping technologies more easily and efficiently, to reduce costs and improve workflow in the design studio.

Each individual will come away with a knowledge of how to fix and prepare their own files and have at least one file of their own work that is ready for rapid prototyping.
