Metropolitan Works have teamed up with certified PTC training partners USG Innotiv to deliver Pro/ENGINEER CAD training.

Pro/ENGINEER is the standard in 3D product design, featuring industry-leading productivity tools that promote best practices in design while ensuring compliance with your industry and company standards. Integrated, parametric, 3D CAD/CAM/CAE solutions allow you to design faster than ever, while maximizing innovation and quality to ultimately create exceptional products.

This certified course is designed for new users who want to become proficient in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 as quickly as possible. Delegates will learn core-modelling skills including; sketching, part modelling, assemblies, drawings, and basic model management techniques.

The course also includes a comprehensive design project that enables delegates to practice their new-found skills by creating realistic parts, assemblies, and drawings.

A set of review questions at the end of each module aims to reinforce critical topics. At the end of the course delegates will complete a course assessment intended to evaluate their understanding of the course as a whole.

By the end of the five day course delegates will be well equipped to work effectively on product design projects using Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire.

Pre-requisites

This is a beginners course so no previous CAD experience is required.

After the course you will be asked to fill in a evaluation form- this form is essential data capture for Metropolitan Works’ funders as well as an opportunity for you to give us feed back about the course you have just attended.
